Billingham 335 MKII Camera Bag Review:

If you have larger gear, Billingham has several great bags to choose from.  They have their 7 Series and their 5 Series with the latter being recently updated, and what we’re doing to discuss here.  There are currently four models: the 225 MKII, the 335 MKII, 445 MKII, and the 555 MKII.  Specifically, we’re taking a closer look at the new Billingham 335 MKII.  Thanks to Billingham, I was able to get a sample to review.  Here are my thoughts on it. Sigma 50mm f1.2 DG DN Art Lens Review:

A 50mm to me is one of the most versatile focal lengths a photographer can have.  Just for my own work alone, I use a 50mm for 99% of it.  I’m being serious too.  It’s the one lens that many, including me, find indispensable, which is one of the main reasons why the market is filled with 50mm lenses to choose from.  Another great reason to buy a 50mm is that generally speaking, you don’t necessarily have to spend a ton of money to get a decent one.  If you’re in the L Mount Alliance like I am, you know there are already plenty of great 50mm lenses to choose from but now, there’s a new game changer in the market: the Sigma 50mm f1.2 DG DN Art.  Thanks to Sigma, I was able to get a pre-release sample to test, and here are my thoughts on this new 50mm. Billingham 335 MKII Camera Bag First Impressions:

I’m sure many of you have heard by now that Billingham has released updated versions of their 5 Series bags.  Thanks to Billingham, I was able to get my hands on the new 335 MKII bag, which I’m quite happy about since it is similar in size to my daily bag for my Leica SL3, which is the Billingham 307.  So, I’ve been using the 335 MKII instead of my 307 for the past couple of weeks, and while I will post a full review in the near future, I thought for now, I would share my first impressions of it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my first impressions!  If my first impressions helped, please consider purchasing from any of the links mentioned in this review, which in turn, helps support this site.  I get a small commission but it will not cost you anything extra.  Thank you! Sigma 105mm f1.4 DG HSM Art Lens Review L mount:

When the L Mount Alliance was announced, the first lens I thought of was the Sigma 105mm f1.4 HSM Art.  I always wanted to use the 105mm but as some of you know, I was shooting with Leica cameras at the time, and using the lens wasn’t possible.  After hearing Sigma and Panasonic were joining forces with Leica, I was quite excited for what would come from this alliance, and knew it was only a matter of time that I would soon be able to use the 105mm with my SL.  It took a little time for the 105mm f1.4 to get released for L mount, and believe me, I was very impatient :).  But it was finally released, and I can tell you right now that it is as good as I ever hoped it would be. Sigma 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary Review Fuji X:

For those looking for an ultra wide angle zoom for their Fujifilm X Series camera, Sigma has recently announced the 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary.  On an APS-C camera, this equates to a 15-27mm, which is a range that covers quite a bit.  I had the pleasure of getting a pre-launch L mount sample to test a while back, and it worked superbly with my L mount system.  The review is here.  I still wanted to give it a go with my Fuji system, so thanks to Sigma, I was able to get a Fuji X mount version of this lens as well.  Here is what I think of it.
