Cool Video From The Fuji Guys: Fuji X-E1 With XF 18-55mm:

Hey everyone, I saw this cool X-E1 video on fujirumors.com, and I thought that I would share it.  I can’t wait to purchase mine.  Amazon (black or silver) and Adorama (black or silver) both have the X-E1 in stock but no one in the US seems to have the Fuji X-E1 with the kit zoom in stock, which is what I’ve been waiting for.  I really want to get my hands on one soon.  For now, I’m enjoying the stuff I’m finding around the web about the X-E1.  Take care everyone!

Once again, The X-E1 is in stock at:

Amazon (black or silver) You also get 2% back in rewards

Adorama (black or silver)

I’m getting a silver one but I’m waiting for the kit (don’t think I’m not tempted to just buy the body though 🙂 ).  The silver X-E1 is a beautiful looking camera.  Also, I think the zoom lens would make a great addition to the X Mount system. [continue reading…]

A Quick Video From Zeiss About Fuji X-Pro1 Lenses:

Man, I am so psyched about the new Zeiss lenses coming out for the Fuji X-Pro1 and X-E1.  Here’s a video interview with Dr. Pollmann about the new lenses for the Fuji X-mount and Sony mirrorless cameras.

It looks like Dr. Pollmann is holding on to the Zeiss 12mm for the X-mount.  This is so cool!  It’s a great time to own one of these fantastic cameras from Fuji.  I love my X-Pro1, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for it in the future.  What do you all think about the new Zeiss lenses?  Are any of you planning on buying one?  Feel free to comment below :).  On a side note, did anyone see the Samyung 8mm Fisheye for the Fuji X-mount?

John Dooley And the New Leica M:

For all you Leicaphiles out there, you should check out this video of John Dooley demonstrating the new Leica M.  It’s pretty interesting, and it shows all of the new features of the Leica M.  He goes through a whole bunch of stuff, such as, the new menu, how to use R lenses, focus peaking, live view, movie mode, and various accessories that you can use with the Leica M.  The video makes me want one a bit more lol.  I guess I’m going to have to put the idea of the Nikon D800E kit in the back burner, and go for the M.  Luckily, I still have till the beginning of 2013 to make my decision :).  Take care, everyone, and enjoy the video!

GoPro Captures Amazing Footage of Pacific White-Sided Dolphins

GoPro Captures Amazing Footage of Wild Dolphins:

Hey everyone, check out this cool video that I found on the Discovery Channel website.  It’s a video made by a fisherman named Mark Peters.  Yes, this is a photography website but this video is pretty cool, and it was shot with a GoPro that was incased in a custom underwater case made by the fisherman who uploaded the video.  He and his buddies were fishing for Albacore in Santa Cruz, and decided to mount the underwater GoPro setup to film the whole thing.

But to their surprise, while they were fishing, a group of Pacific white-sided dolphins started to school behind their boat.  I had a few dolphins swim up to me while I was fishing in New Jersey but nothing like this.  This is just awesome, and makes me want to buy one of these GoPro cams for my fishing trips lol.  You can see the dolphins at the 1:50 point.   Very cool video, you should watch it:

First Look Video of the Fuji X-E1 From The Fuji Guys:

Check out this first look video on the new Fuji X-E1 made by the Fuji Guys.  If I wasn’t waiting to see what Leica is offering at Photokina, I probably would have pre-ordered an X-E1 already to use as a second body lol.  I think the X-E1 is priced very reasonably, and will definitely give more people the opportunity to experience what something like the X-Pro1 can offer.  Don’t forget, the Fuji X-E1 uses the same sensor as the X-Pro1, which is awesome.  If you don’t need the OVF, then you can save $700, and actually get a smaller body as well.  Awesome :).  I love the Fuji X Mount system, and it has honestly brought me nothing but joy since I bought my X-Pro1 in March/April.  Now, it’s just a lot more available to many others who have at this point been wanting to try out Fuji’s X Mount but don’t want to be in the dog house for shelling out $1,700 for a body.
