Fuji X-Pro1 in Stock:
If you are interested, there are several places that already have the Fuji X-Pro1 in stock. Check them out:
Amazon currently has the Fuji X-Pro1, and the 18mm F2.0 in stock.
Adorama has the Fuji X-Pro1, the 18mm F2.0 in stock, and the 35mm F1.4 in stock.
I’m still waiting patiently for my dealer to get his stock in so I can get mine. I’m hoping that I will get mine this week. It would be perfect timing as well since my M9 is currently at Leica NJ to have its sensor replaced. Right now I’m using my X100, and while I like it, I don’t believe that it’s any replacement for an M9 or an interchangeable lens camera. Plus I miss shooting with a 50mm, so I’m hoping that my dealer will have the 35 F1.4 in stock when I go pick up my Fuji.
I’m thinking about writing a mini review for the Fuji X100 in the near future discussing my thoughts on the camera. I know the review might be a bit late especially since the X100 came out last year but maybe it will help some of you who are interested in a camera like the X100. While I like it, I find a couple of things annoying about it that I hoped Fuji addressed when designing the Fuji X-Pro1. There are many times that I feel I’m faster with my M9 than the X100. Boot up time is slow, and when it sleeps, getting it back up can take a while. Who knows, maybe it’s because I have the older firmware. I heard the new one is a little bit better. Sometimes I get lazy with updating my cameras :). For now, if you’re interested in the Fuji X-Pro1, check out Amazon and Adorama. Thanks for stopping by, and take care.
