Have a Wonderful Week And Thanksgiving

Have a Wonderful Week And Thanksgiving:

Hey everyone.  I’m leaving this week, and heading off to the Cayman Islands with my family for Thanksgiving.  I have written up some reviews and posts, so there should be new content while I’m away.  I’ll also be bringing a decent camera kit with me that includes my Panasonic S5, and a bunch of Sigma I Series lenses, so I should get some pictures to share here.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!  If you’re considering purchasing something, and it helped, please consider purchasing from any of the links mentioned, which in turn, helps support this site.  I get a small commission but it will not cost you anything extra.  Thank you!

I’m actually very excited to try the kit that I’m bringing as a whole.  Since this is a vacation, I don’t want to be burdened with a lot of weight.  At the same time, I want something that will give be great images because I’m going to a beautiful destination where I will have time to take photos.  As some of you know, I’ve been a huge fan of the S5, since I first reviewed it (here’s my review).  I ended up buying one because I feel it really compliments my Leica SL2.  When I don’t need say 47 MP, I can grab the S5, and still use the same L mount lenses.  Plus, even though it is full frame, it’s actually not much larger than my Fuji X-T3, which has a cropped APS-C sensor.

As I said earlier, I’m also bringing some Sigma I Series lenses with me.  I’ve reviewed every L mount I Series lens so far, and they are astoundingly good, and best of all, compact, so they perfectly match the S5. Thanks to Sigma, I currently have with me the 20mm f2 (review here), the 35mm f2 (review here), and the 65mm f2 (review here).  These are some of my favorite lenses currently out, regardless of manufacturer with the 65mm f2 being my absolute favorite.  Below are a few images I’ve shot with these lenses.  You’re welcomed to read the reviews, if you want to see more images.

I also received a 14mm f1.8 to review, which I can’t wait to test.  I rarely get to shoot with something like this, and I’m looking forward to seeing what I can get out of it.  I have it in L mount but it also comes in several other mounts.  Being that it is a 14mm f1.8 lens, it’s a larger lens, so I haven’t decided on whether or not I will bring it with me on my trip.

So, expect new posts while I am away.  When I get back, I’ll let you know how this kit worked out for me.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful holiday week, and Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it!
