Leica 90mm f2 and APO-Summicron-SL 75mm f2 ASPH!:

Hey everyone!  This is just a quick little post…I have to actually get back to finishing my review for the CL.  I took a trip to New Jersey today to play with the new Leica APO-Summicron-SL 90mm f2 ASPH, and the APO-Summicron-SL 75mm f2 ASPH lenses at the Leica Boutique in Bergen County Camera.  I took a few photos with both but they are mostly of my dad (who is also a Leica guy), so I really can’t post them here because he’s blog shy lol.  Sorry, but I will post plenty of images from the 90mm soon when I get my own copy.  I’ll also leave you with a few notes. A Cold Sunday With The Leica CL:

Hey everyone!  Check this out: I have the new Leica CL on loan to review.  It’s been with me a little while now, and you probably know I’ve had it already, if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook.  This is my first post with it but I will definitely be talking more about it over the next couple of weeks.  Right now, I thought I’d start off by sharing some photos I took last weekend, and my overall experience with it so far. Leica Sofort Instant Film Camera Review:

Instant film cameras are becoming more and more popular because quite frankly, they are a lot of fun to use.  In addition to the fun, shooting with one of these lo-fi film cameras is a nice break from the technical perfection of digital.  There are actually quite a few manufacturers that are currently producing instant film cameras like Fuji, for instance.  Now, Leica have also entered this market with their new Sofort.  The Sofort not only shoots with the popular Instax film, it is also currently the cheapest Leica that you can buy by a far margin.  So, let’s take a closer look at the Sofort, and see what this camera is really about.   [continue reading…]

Leica Sofort Instant Camera First Impressions:

Today I bring you Leica’s new Sofort, which is not only currently the cheapest Leica camera that you can purchase new but it also shoots film.  I recently received the Sofort as a loaner, and first off, let me say one thing: At first, I couldn’t believe it when I first heard that Leica was releasing an instant film camera.  But it does use Instax Mini film, which is actually quite popular among a lot of people, and you know what?  I’m actually having a lot of fun with it.
