A Little Lens Cleaning With ROR Lens Cleaner:
I never talk about lens cleaning because quite frankly, I don’t really do it much haha :). But for like the first time in my life, I was in need of something a little stronger than just my trusty microfiber cloth. I needed some sort of liquid help, and that’s how I found ROR Lens Cleaner. Billingham 207 Camera Bag Review:
The Billingham 7 Series bags are for those who need a little more breathing room for say larger gear or just more gear in general. There are currently two in the series: the Billingham 207, and the 307 (the 107 has been discontinued). Both offer the same features with only the width of each bag being different. The 307 is the largest, and you guess it, the 207 is the smallest. Thanks to Billingham, I was able to get a 207 in to review, and here are my thoughts on it. [continue reading…]
Billingham 207 Camera Bag First Impressions:
For the past year and a half or so, my go-to bag has been the Billingham 307 (full review here). It’s the main bag I take with me to every shoot. It holds quite a lot of gear, and like the rest of the Billingham 7 series, it’s unique in the way that it opens up like one of those doctor’s bags from older times. It has what Billingham calls the PressTop easy access system. Anyway, the 307 is a pretty big bag. Currently, I have my entire SL2 kit stored in it. So, for those who may want all the features of the 307 but maybe in a smaller version, there is the Billingham 207. I’ve always been curious about the 207, and thanks to Billingham, I’m able to get one in to review. Here’s my first impressions of it. [continue reading…]
Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Camera Review:
Nikon showed everyone last year they were serious about mirrorless when they released the two full frame Z6 and Z7 bodies. This year, they release another Z series camera: the Z50. Unlike the previous Z cameras, the Z50 is smaller, and a lot cheaper. It also isn’t full frame. Instead, it has an APS-C sensor, which means its primary competition are cameras like the Fuji X-T30. Let’s take a closer look by starting off with the overall build and ergonomics.
(On a side note, I just wanted to mention that this review ended up a little shorter than I wanted it to be because I had hurt my back. For instance, I would’ve liked better high ISO shots. It’s still over 3,000 words though, and my back is much better now 🙂 ). [continue reading…]

Sony FE 35mm f1.8 Lens Review:
The 35mm lens is super popular among photographers because if you think about it, it’s a very versatile focal length. It’s great for street photography, cityscape, landscape, documentary, and environmental portraiture just to name a few. The 50mm might be my favorite focal length but if I were going on vacation, for example, and I only had the option of bringing one lens, it’d probably be the 35mm. So, this leads me to what I’m going to talk about now, the Sony FE 35mm f1.8 lens. When it was first announced, this was a highly anticipated lens for good reason. It’s the right focal length, it’s compact, and promised fast autofocus, and good optics. Plus, at f1.8, it has a large maximum aperture. Let’s take a closer look. [continue reading…]
