There are tons of great camera straps on the market to choose from these days, and a lot of them are very good, which makes it even harder to choose sometimes.  I’ve reviewed quite a few in the past from several manufacturers, and for the most part, each one brought something cool, and unique to the table.  I always thought that Leica should’ve capitalized on the strap market a bit more, and well, they have.  There is, for example, the Leica Leather Wrist Strap, which is designed to fit M and X cameras, and it is what I am going to talk about now. Quarantine caused by the corona virus pandemic here in New York City has eased up a bit, and I’m beginning to go out for more walks again.  I’m still taking a lot of precautions, and shooting is definitely not like it used to be, and I don’t go out for as long as I used to but with that said, I am also beginning to start reviewing new gear again.  One piece of gear that’s been on my list for a while now is the new Fujifilm X-T4.  I recently received one, and here’s my first impressions of it. Back to Film With Cinestill 50 and my Leica M6 TTL Millennium:

I was originally going to make this one of my weekly portrait posts, since I haven’t made one of those in a while (I couldn’t really meet anyone during the pandemic).  However, I haven’t shot film in a long time, so this will be a post about my recent experience shooting with my Leica M6 TTL Millennium again, and a film that is new to me at least, Cinestill 50.  Things are getting better in NYC, which also means I am finally going out to shoot more.  It also means I’ll have more content to post again.  This is a recent social distance shoot I did with my dear friend Kristina (Instagram). If you’re looking for an M mount ultra wide angle lens, there are plenty to choose from these days.  Some of the big name manufacturers for M mount lenses, like Zeiss and Voigtlander, make tons of choices.  There are also smaller manufacturers that do as well.  Of course, if you’re looking for something from Leica, you’re in luck because they also make quite a few to choose from now.  You have the ultra fast Summilux lenses to even a lens called the Tri-Elmar, which is a rangefinder lens that can change focal lengths.  Then there are the more compact lenses like the Super Elmar-M 18mm f3.8 ASPH, which is what I’ll be talking about here.  This particular copy was not loaned to me for review purposes but my very own.  For several years now, it’s been one of my favorite lenses to use.  Let’s take a closer look.
