Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Lens Review:

There are tons of Fujifilm X Series lenses to choose from nowadays with a lot of new tech and designs but with that said, the earlier generation lenses are still really awesome.  As some of you know, I went on vacation last month, and I brought with me two lenses to review: one was the XF 8-16mm, which you can find the review here.  The other was an older lens that for some reason, I never reviewed before but decided to do so finally, the XF 55-200mm f3.5-4.8 R LM OIS lens.  Given that I do love ultra wides, I honestly thought I was going to use the XF 8-16mm most of the time but surprisingly, I used the XF 55-200mm more.  I also enjoyed it more.  Here’s why. Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f2.8 R LM WR Lens Review

Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f2.8 R LM WR Lens Review:

So much has changed since the beginning of the X Series.  We now have tons of camera bodies to choose from, and a great lens collection to back them up.  Recently, that lens collection has expanded to include a bunch of new lenses, one being the XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR.  With a relatively large constant aperture, a promise of pro-quality build, and such a uniquely wide focal length range, I’m sure there are a lot of people, especially from the DSLR world, who have been waiting for a lens like this to come out for the X Series.  However, at a list price of $1,999, it is definitely not cheap, and one has to ask the question, is it worth it?  Well, as some of you know, I absolutely love using ultra wides, so I was actually very eager to try this lens out.  My normal go-to ultra wide for the Fuji is the Zeiss Touit 12mm f2.8 but when I went on vacation recently, I left it at home, and took the XF 8-16mm instead to really spend some time with it.  Here’s what I think of it. Billingham AVEA 7 And AVEA 8 End Pockets Review:

If you owned a Billingham bag, and really like it but wish it had just a little more space, there are two options you have: you can buy a new bag (but you may not want to, if you really like the one you’re currently using) or you could turn to their end pockets.  Depending on the model of bag that you own, you have a choice between quite a few models.  Two examples are the AVEA 3 or AVEA 5.  You can also get the Delta end pockets.  Recently, Billingham released new ones called the AVEA 7 and AVEA 8, which I’ve had the pleasure of using for quite some time already.  Here’s what I have to say about them. Quick Comparison: Fujifilm X-T3 OOC Provia Jpegs And Edited RAW Files:

Hey everyone, I’m back from vacation.  This post was actually meant to be up while I was on vacation but my internet was limited and very slow.  This isn’t a long post; just a quick and easy read.  I’m currently preparing my reviews for the Fuji XF 8-16mm and XF 55-200mm lenses, so if you want a longer read, those will be up soon.  I brought those lenses with me on vacation.  Anyway, while I am a RAW user all the way, the Fuji X-T3 does produce some killer jpegs (so does the D-Lux 7 by the way…review of it posted a few weeks ago.  I thought I’d post a few of the OOC jpegs along with my RAW edits.
