Leica 90mm f2 and APO-Summicron-SL 75mm f2 ASPH!:

Hey everyone!  This is just a quick little post…I have to actually get back to finishing my review for the CL.  I took a trip to New Jersey today to play with the new Leica APO-Summicron-SL 90mm f2 ASPH, and the APO-Summicron-SL 75mm f2 ASPH lenses at the Leica Boutique in Bergen County Camera.  I took a few photos with both but they are mostly of my dad (who is also a Leica guy), so I really can’t post them here because he’s blog shy lol.  Sorry, but I will post plenty of images from the 90mm soon when I get my own copy.  I’ll also leave you with a few notes. Cravar Rana 15 Leather Camera Bag Review

Cravar Rana 15 Leather Camera Bag Review:

Cravar has been a manufacturer of premium leather goods for quite some time but recently, they entered the world of photography with their Rana Series bags.  With the aim of satisfying most photographers’ needs, there are currently four sizes to choose from.  They’re called the Rana 7, 10, 13, and 15.  Earlier in October, I reviewed the Rana 10, and I found it to be a great little bag that you can carry around all day.  It’s beautifully crafted, functional, and built to last.  However, it’s a compact bag, so for those who want something larger, there are two other options.  You could either choose the Rana 13 or the Rana 15, which thanks to Cravar, I’m reviewing now.  Here are my thoughts on the Rana 15. A Cold Sunday With The Leica CL:

Hey everyone!  Check this out: I have the new Leica CL on loan to review.  It’s been with me a little while now, and you probably know I’ve had it already, if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook.  This is my first post with it but I will definitely be talking more about it over the next couple of weeks.  Right now, I thought I’d start off by sharing some photos I took last weekend, and my overall experience with it so far. Cravar Rana 15 Leather Camera Bag Preview:

As some of you know, the Northeast is experiencing some major cold!  Right now, it is 13 degrees with the sun out, and we are still recovering from some major snow.  Anyway, I’m still recovering from some back pain (and shoveling did not help), so I probably won’t be stepping foot outside today.  Instead, I thought I’d share with all of you this new bag that I recently received from Cravar to review.  It is the Rana 15, and it’s the larger sibling of the Rana 10 that I reviewed a while back (the review is here).  Keep in mind that this is not my full review of the Rana 15. This is only a preview but the full review will be coming soon. [continue reading…]

Fuji X-E3 vs. X-T2 Comparison: Which One is Right For You?

Fuji X-E3 vs. X-T2 Comparison: Which One is Right For You?

Apologies for the lack of blog posts lately.  I hurt my back from a sneeze out of all things lol.  Anyway, I thought I’d post something before Christmas, so here it is.  The current Fuji body that I own is the X-T2 but I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t a little tempted by new X-E3 ;).  It’s a really nice camera.  It definitely has a lot to offer, and the price is decent.  While the X-T2 ultimately fits my needs best, I still found myself comparing the two cameras quite a lot in my head, and I’m sure I’m not the only one that did this or is doing this, so I decided to write up a little comparison between the two.  I won’t be just listing the specs.  I’m sure all of you can easily google for that information.  In this comparison, I am listing what would be the major selling points for myself after having used both these cameras in actual real world settings.  While I may be listing the differences that are important to me, feel free to add anything else in the comment section that I haven’t mentioned.  Let’s get started.
