Sony E 35mm f1.8 OSS Lens Review:
I received the Sony E 35mm f1.8 OSS lens when I was reviewing the a6300, and since it’s an older lens, this review will be a little shorter than what I normally write. I just thought that this lens would be great to review because its focal length, price, and speed, make it a great choice for those who are just getting into the Sony system. Plus, I love the 50mm focal length, so it’s always a joy to test another one out. So, let’s get started. [continue reading…]
Panasonic Leica 12mm Summilux f1.4 ASPH First Impressions:
Hey everyone! I have some really cool stuff coming soon. For one, I’ve been shooting with the newly released Panasonic Leica 12mm Summilux f1.4 ASPH, and I will be writing a review for it very soon. Sony a6300 Mirrorless Camera Review:
The Sony a6000 was one of the most popular mirrorless cameras out there, and usually when something is that admired, it can be quite difficult for a manufacturer to make a worthy replacement. Well, it may have been difficult but that did not stop Sony from trying. Earlier this year, they released the replacement for their APS-C flagship, the a6300. ONA Bowery Camera Bag Review:
For a long time now, I’ve been looking for a small camera bag that fit’s truly the essentials. What I mean by that is a bag that fits about two lenses, and a camera but also feels comfortable carrying just a camera and a lens. At least for me, it’s always been kind of hard because I also want a quality bag, and one that is at least relatively decently priced. ONA must’ve read my mind because their Bowery bag seems to fit exactly what I want. It’s tiny, comes in several different color and material combinations, and doesn’t look half bad. In fact, it’s quite attractive, and at $149 (at least for the waxed canvas version), it isn’t exactly cheap but it won’t break the bank either. [continue reading…]
Artisan & Artist LMB-M7 Half Case Review:
I’ve been using my Leica M6 TTL Millennium a lot more lately because while I love digital, film slows me down a bit. It’s a nice change, and in that way it compliments digital. Of course, using my M6 also means that I’ve been looking for more accessories for it :). One accessory I’ve been considering for quite a while now is getting a half case for my M6. The problem is that there are tons to choose from nowadays. There are some pretty bad ones but also some great ones. One that I’ve had my eye on for a while is the Artisan & Artist LMB-M7, and I thought it would be a great idea to get one in and review it. [continue reading…]
