Billingham Hadley Pro Review: A Solid Bag Designed to Last a Lifetime

Billingham-Hadley-Pro-Review-1

Billingham Hadley Pro Review:

There are plenty of decent camera bags out there nowadays.  Domke, Artisan & Artist, and Think Tank are just a few companies that come to my mind that make great camera bags but there are plenty more.  Billingham is another company that has been making great bags as well, and one series that Billingham has been producing for quite some time is the Hadley range, which is one of their most popular series of bags for several reasons: the Hadley range is made up of a bunch of bags that are extremely dependable, perfectly sized, comfortable, and built to last.  They make various models but one of their most popular bags in this series is the Billingham Hadley Pro (B&H Photo/Amazon). Leica M 240 Photos With The 50 Summilux ASPH:

I went out for a quick walk with my brother in-law, and here are some photos I wanted to share.  We walked from 30th st. down to Union Square, and I brought my Leica M 240, and my 50 Summilux ASPH along with me.  I haven’t used this combo in a while because I’ve been using my 18mm Super Elmar a lot but I sure miss this setup. Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R Lens Review

Fuji XF 23mm F1.4 R Lens Review:

The 35mm lens is one of the most popular focal lengths for photographers because of its versatility in street, reportage, and landscape photography.  For a long time, it was the one lens that was sorely missing in the Fuji XF lineup.  If you wanted a 35mm equivalent lens, you would have to either adapt another manufacturer’s lens, purchase the XF 18-55mm zoom or the XF 18mm, which is approximately a 27mm equivalent.  Fuji made a promise a long time ago that they would produce a 35mm equivalent lens, one with an F1.4 aperture no less, and people have been waiting very patiently for Fuji to deliver on this promise.  The wait is finally over: Fuji has finally released the XF 23mm F1.4 R lens (B&H Photo/Amazon), which is one of the most highly anticipated lenses in the XF lineup. Fuji XF 23mm F1.4 R Lens First Impressions:

Today is a good day :).  I just received the Fuji XF 23mm F1.4 R lens from Fedex, and here are a few initial shots I took after a walk around my neighborhood.  Many of you know my preferred focal length is the 50mm, which is why I love the XF 35mm so much.  But I am definitely psyched about the XF 23mm which to some, is arguably the most highly anticipated lens for the X Series system. Fuji X-E1: A Vacationer’s Perspective at Disney World:

Hey everyone!  I’m back from my vacation to Walt Disney World, and instead of just showing you a bunch of photos, I’m kind of in the mood to write up something different.  I want to write a post about using the Fuji X-E1 through a vacationer’s perspective because of some of the reactions I got with the camera :).  I didn’t get any bad reactions; on the contrary, I got very curious and positive reactions.  For instance, one of the photographers at Disney thought I had a first generation digital camera but was actually pleasantly surprised when she discovered it was a modern digital camera.  She really appreciated the analog controls of the Fuji.  Another Disney photographer commented that the X-E1 reminded her of her old film SLR lol.  Then, there was another person who was working there (she used my X-E1 to take a family photo for us) who liked it so much, she wrote down the model and brand, so she could order one.
