Disney World: Photos From The Fuji X-Pro1 And XF 18-55mm Zoom Part 2:

Hi Everyone.  Here is part 2 of the Disney photos shot with the X-Pro1, and XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens.  You can also check out part one if you haven’t yet.  Just to recap, my dad borrowed my X-Pro1, and most of my lenses to use on a trip to Disney with my mom but funny thing is he ended up really only using the zoom.  There are some shots taken at a whopping 6400 ISO.  My dad was concentrating more on enjoying himself rather than photographing, so the X-Pro1 was essentially set to auto. Artisan & Artist ACAM-301 Woven Silk Cord Camera Strap Review

Artisan & Artist ACAM-301 Woven Silk Cord Camera Strap Review:

Nowadays, camera straps are a big thing in the camera world.  And why wouldn’t they be?  The world today is about personalization.  Everything we buy can be customized to our satisfaction.  Some car companies now will even paint your car any color that you would like (for a small fee, of course 🙂 ).  We now have more camera strap companies than ever before, and that is not a bad thing.  Some may say it’s a waste to “bling” your camera out but hey, it’s YOUR camera, and you can add whatever you want to it.  I remember when I first received my M3, I wanted a leather strap so badly for it.  I wanted that old school look to really resonate from my camera.  I was 12 then, and at that time, they didn’t really have any third party camera strap companies.  Now, they do, and one company that has earn the respect of many photographers is Artisan & Artist.  I spoke of Artisan & Artist straps before in my ACAm-280 Kobe Strap review, and today, I will be showing you the Artisan & Artist ACAM-301 silk cord. Some Camera Porn to Look at: Fuji X-E1 With M-Adapter And 35 Summicron ASPH:

Hey everyone!  I will be doing some comparison tests between the Fuji XF primes and zoom but I will also be shooting with this setup right here in these photos.  Check it out…who doesn’t like a little camera porn now and then, right? 😉  It’s my Fuji X-E1 with the Fuji M-Mount Lens Adapter, and a chrome 35 Summicron ASPH.  This is the first time I actually put the M adapter on to my X-E1, and wow, it not only looks better than the X-Pro1 with the adapter, it also feels a lot smaller.  I’m sorry, I know looks have nothing to do with photography but this setup looks cool, and I just wanted to share it!  Isn’t that what blogging is all about? 🙂  Size wise, it really feels like an MP, and while you all know how much I love the X-Pro1, this setup here makes the XP1 with the adapter feel huge in comparison.  If any of you have ever used a Leica M6 pre-TTL or even an MP, you know what I mean.  Plus, the X-E1 has a nice heft to it thanks to the Leica lens but it’s still light, and easy to carry around. Disney World: Photos From The Fuji X-Pro1 And XF 18-55mm Zoom Part 1:

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend.  I loaned my dad my Fuji X-Pro1 for his trip to Disney with my mom, and some of his photos came out pretty cool, so I thought that I’d post them here.  He takes photos more as a casual hobby so he just basically sets the camera to auto ISO, and shoots.  He didn’t bring any tripod or anything else.  He took all the lenses but the XF 60mm but really only ended up using the new XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens zoom.  It just goes to show you how good the zoom really is. Gepe Card Safe Mini Review: Perfect For Storing Your Memory Cards

Gepe Card Safe Mini Review:

Hey everyone!  I received something cool from Amazon the other day, and I thought I’d share it with you all.  It’s the Gepe Card Safe Mini.  Right now, I currently store my memory cards in Gepe Card Safe Extreme Cases, which I reviewed before.  I love the cases, and I use them all the time, especially since memory cards can get lost fairly easily because of their small sizes.  But, sometimes, I walk around the city, and I don’t bring a bag because I don’t want to carry the weight.  Plus, extra stuff usually equals me being more cumbersome.  Sometimes the extreme cases are a little too big for my jeans so I decided to try out these new card safe mini’s.  Plus, like many photographers out there, I like new toys :).
