There Are Great Deals on Used Fuji X-Pro1 Cameras

Great Deals on Used Fuji X-Pro1 Cameras:

Hey, everyone, I was surfing the web (I should be packing but I’m a master procrastinator 🙂 ), and I found some great used deals from Amazon if any of you are interested in purchasing the Fuji X-Pro1.  Some are only a little over $1200!  For those who can’t decide between this camera, and the X100, this definitely should make it a bit easier.  It would cost less than the Fuji X100 Black Limited Edition!  In fact, one of these cameras are not much higher in price than the Olympus OM-D.  Check it out if you’re interested, some are even sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals:

Not sure if this camera is right for you?  You can check out my reviews of this system if you want more info, and to see if it will suit your needs in photography.  I bought the whole system since its release, and I love this camera system.  Yes, there are minor annoyances but no camera is perfect.  Image quality, and rangefinder like usability are phenomenal though, and it only gets better in my opinion.  If you do decide to buy one, I suggest you get the XF 35mm F1.4 R lens.  The other lenses are great but the XF 35mm is a killer!  It’s one of the best 50mm equivalents out there!  Anyway, I need to finish up my packing for my vacation.  Take care, and I hope you all enjoy the reviews!

Bon Voyage!: I’m Off to My Cruise to Bermuda

Cruise to Bermuda:

Hey everyone!  I just wanted to inform you all that I’m leaving on my cruise to Bermuda for a week so I won’t be able to respond to any comments or questions.  But if there are any, I will definitely get back to you as soon as I get home.  I have written some stuff that will be posted over the week thanks to my brother in law, so things can at least stay fresh on the Finding Range while I’m gone.  When I come back, there will be a lot of new, and interesting things, which I plan to post.

Plus, since I’ve been focusing more on reviews lately, I plan on posting some photos again.    Don’t worry, more reviews are coming but this site is about everything that concerns photography, and I want to make sure that photos play a strong role on findingrange.com.  Plus, Bermuda is beautiful, who wouldn’t want to see some photos from it? 🙂  I will be bringing my Leica M9, and my father (a family vacation) will be bringing the Fuji X-Pro1, so there should be plenty of photos when I come back.  I can’t wait!

To be honest, I will actually miss posting on this blog a lot while I’m away in Bermuda.  This blog has taken up more, and more of my time lately but I love being on it.  Thank you all for coming by and visiting.  I hope all of you have a great week!

Photos Shot With The Fuji X-Pro1 And X10 Added to The Photo Gallery

New Images Added to The Photo Gallery:

Wow, I haven’t had much time to do anything else since I’ve been so busy packing for my trip to Bermuda.  FYI, I’m a last minute packer, and I’m definitely paying for that now! :).  I think that I might be up all night packing :(.  This is just a quick post to let you all know that I just added a few images to Finding Range’s photo gallery.  Finding Range will be updated while I am away, and when I come back, there will definitely be some new stuff here, so please stay tuned.

What new stuff?  I have a couple of reviews coming up, and I will definitely be posting some photos from my cruise to Bermuda.  I will be using my Leica M9, and my father will be using the Fuji X-Pro1.  I’ve been working on some Leica lens reviews, and I think after my trip, I will post a few, since I will be using them very thoroughly.  But don’t worry, for those who are not into Leica gear, I will definitely have other camera reviews coming up.  I hope everyone is well, and enjoying the weekend.  Please enjoy the photo gallery here.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Fuji X10 Review : Fujifilm’s High End Compact Camera

The Fuji X10 Review:

I always had a good appreciation, and respect for Fuji products, especially back in the film days with their wonderful Velvia, Provia, and Reala films.  When photography went digital, I must admit, all I ever heard about were the typical big companies like Nikon and Canon.  Then Fuji announced their X100, and things completely changed.  Here was a camera that was solidly built, produced phenomenal image quality, and offered rangefinder-like usability all for almost half the price of the Leica X1.  Naturally, the Fuji X100 was a huge hit, and I believe that it really help put Fuji on the map again.  In fact, it’s still a huge success even with the release of the Fuji X-Pro1 and it’s newly released competitor, the Leica X2.  Instead of letting the success of the X100 dwindle, Fuji decided to invest in the X Series cameras, and announced the Fuji X10 in September.
