Picking Up My Fuji X-Pro1 Tomorrow:
Hey everyone, I’m just giving you all a heads up about the status of my Fuji X-Pro1. Bob from Bergen County Camera called me today to tell me my X-Pro1 and two lenses (the 18mm and the 35mm) have arrived. I’m actually kind of psyched, especially since I don’t have my M9 right now. I’m extra psyched because I get to use the Fuji X-Pro1 with the 50 F1.4 equivalent. Flushing Queens:
If any of you are visiting New York, and want to see a Chinatown, you should check out the one in Flushing Queens. Last Photos From my Leica M9 Before It Was Sent Back to Leica:

You can read more about it in my past two posts (the first post, and the second post). Even with new cameras constantly popping out these days, there is something special about a Leica M9…actually something special about any Leica M that no other camera can match. If you want to go back to the basics…where you are in complete control of your shot, the Leica M9 is your camera. There are no electronics to get in your way, and while many may think it’s a hindrance, it is actually surprisingly liberating. The Leica M9 really helps you just concentrate on your shot, and I think that’s probably the most important feature of the M9 to me. [continue reading…]
