7artisans 25mm f1.8 Lens Fujifilm X-Mount First Impressions:
Being that this is Memorial Day weekend, I’ll make this short and sweet. I finished my Fuji XF 80mm f2.8 Macro review, and I will post it in the beginning of next week but now, I’m going to talk to you a little about the Photoelectric 25mm f1.8 by 7artisans. Why is this anything special? The truth is, there are plenty of 25mm lenses that we can use on the Fuji X Series bodies. Well, for one, this specific lens comes in at less than $70. I have to say, I haven’t felt the need for a 25mm lens but at this price, even I’m tempted to buy one :). So let’s take a closer look at it. [continue reading…]
Fuji XF 80mm f2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens First Impressions:
Apologies for the lack of post everyone! There will be a lot of stuff coming soon. I’ve actually been quite busy in the background these days reviewing a few things. For Leica users, I’ve been putting together not only my APO Summicron-SL 90mm f2 ASPH review (it’ll be a long one with plenty of pics) but a bunch of other SL related reviews. For Fuji users, I have a 7Artisan lens review coming up. I’ve also been shooting with the new Fuji XF 80mm f2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens, and I thought I’d share my first impressions of it. Billingham Hadley Small Pro Camera Bag Review:
The Hadley Small has been one of the most popular bags from Billingham for many good reasons. It’s compact yet it can carry a decent size mirrorless or even mid-level DSLR kit. It’s lightweight, It has tons of padding, and it can handle one seriously rough weather. Best of all, it’s rugged enough to last, so you’ll get more than your money’s worth in the end. Overall, a lot of people consider it the perfect everyday bag but that didn’t stop Billingham from improving on it even further with the newly released Hadley Small Pro. Thanks to Billingham, I was able to get one in to review, and here are my thoughts on it. [continue reading…]

I’m always on the lookout for 50mm (or 50mm equivalent) lenses because the focal length is my favorite. I don’t necessarily buy them all; I just like to see what’s out there. Well for one, it has a reasonably fast maximum aperture. It also sells for about $90, and it comes in Fuji X Mount. In other words, no adapters required. So, how is this lens? Read on and find out!
