Featured Deals on Fuji X-T2 And Fuji X-Pro2!:
There are two great deals going on if you’re planning on buying an X-T2 or X-Pro2. If you get the X-T2 with the VPB-XT2 Vertical Booster Grip, and the X-Pro2 with the XF 23mm f2, you can get a nice discount:
$230 off Fuji X-T2 with the Vertical Booster Grip at B&H Photo/Adorama
$250 off Fuji X-Pro2 with an XF 23mm f2 at B&H Photo/Adorama
Man, I should’ve waited to buy my X-T2 because I also bought the vertical grip :). Oh well, I did get some good use out of it over the past few months. Fuji is also making the X-Pro2 more and more desirable to me. Btw, if any of you want to see my reviews of the products above, check out the links below:

First Snow Fall of 2017 in New York City:
We finally got some real snow in New York City. Maybe not major snow but definitely more than weather reports originally suggested. We ended up with a few inches but it wasn’t the snow that was really the problem. I usually like when it snows but what really made the weather hard to bear was the cold. Temps wise, it was in the 20s but it felt like it was in the teens. It was cold enough that when I was walking around downtown Manhattan, I didn’t really see many people out at all. I thought I’d post some pics of this since I rarely see downtown looking like this even on a Sunday morning :). The only time I’ve seen it even more quiet than this was when it was 0° out. You know that movie starring Will Smith, I am Legend? That’s what it looked like to me when it was 0°. As to why I was out, I wanted to get a few more shots with the Canon EOS M5 loaner before I return it. These were all taken with the 11-22mm f4-5.6 IS STM lens by the way. [continue reading…]
Fuji X-Pro2 Graphite and X-T2 Graphite Silver Edition Launch:
Fujifilm have finally released an X-T2 Graphite Silver Edition. But what is surprising is that Fuji also released a graphite version of their X-Pro2. It looks different than the X-T2 Graphite Silver Edition, and in my opinion, it’s really a fantastic color for the X-Pro2. [continue reading…]
Billingham S4 Camera Bag Review:
With mirrorless on the rise, Billingham decided to start a new line of bags specifically catering to the needs of these users. This new line of bags is called the S Series, and there are currently three models. I already reviewed the smallest one, and the middle one. If you have a smaller kit, you may want to read my S2, and S3 reviews instead. However, if you have a larger mirrorless kit or you want something for even a DSLR set up, the S4 is probably a better fit, and it’s the bag that I will be talking about today. [continue reading…]
Images From The Canon EOS M5 And EF 50mm f1.2L USM:
Happy New Year everyone! I imagine some of you had a very late night ;). I sure did, so I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet. Tomorrow, I’ll be posting my Billingham S4 review for those who are interested. Now, I’ll be talking about a really cool setup that I’ve been using for the last couple of weeks in addition to the 50mm Summilux-SL that I’m reviewing. I’ve been shooting with the Canon EOS M5, and it’s actually a really cool camera. There’s a lot to love about it, and some things I think Canon should work on but overall, I can definitely see it as a strong competitor to cameras such as ones in the Fuji X-Series. I have a bunch of lenses on loan with it but one in particular has really been so much fun to use with the EOS M5: the Canon EF 50mm f1.2L USM Lens. [continue reading…]
