Back From my Trip to Grand Cayman

Back From my Trip to Grand Cayman:

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say that I’m back from vacation, so it’ll be back to business as usual.  As some of you know, I went away to Grand Cayman.  It was a family trip for Thanksgiving.  It was quite a lot of fun but more importantly, it was relaxing, and I definitely needed it more than I thought.  I also was able to take a lot of photos, and I will be posting them in a big article about a traveling camera setup for here very soon.

I get a small commission from purchases made through the links mentioned in this post, which in turn, helps support this site but it will not cost you anything extra.  Thank you!

As I mentioned before I left, I took with me my S5, and thanks to Sigma, three of their wonderful I Series lenses.  These lenses were the 20mm f2 DG DN Contemporary (the photo above was taken with this lens), the 35mm f2 DG DN Contemporary, and the 65mm f2 DG DN Contemporary.  Together, this was seriously such an incredible system for travel, and I promise to go into depth about it with plenty of photos to back it up.  I have sent the lenses back already but I miss them so much!  These lenses are just epic: you have stuff here that is compact, offers great autofocus performance, and at the same time, amazing image quality.  These new lenses are hard to beat.  I can’t wait to show all of you some of the pics.  For now, I have reviewed the lenses here, if you want more info about them.

I’ll also have some new reviews coming up, so stay tuned!  I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, and as always, thanks for stopping by!

The Sigma 65 f2 is just a wonderful lens. One of my favorite lenses. Definitely has the potential to be a classic.

      Hi!

Apologies for the very late reply! Just been crazy busy lately.

I couldn’t agree more! It is one of my favorite lenses! Compact, sharp, quick autofocus, fast, and a unique focal length :). Love it!

      Best,

      Patrick
