Black Label Bag Leather Wrist Strap:
I bet that there are plenty of you out there who don’t use a neck strap because you prefer to carry around your camera with one hand. It’s less conspicuous, and your camera is always ready to go. I’m definitely one who prefers to carry my camera like that, and that’s why I love the Leica M neck strap so much. It’s a strong strap that is cheap, and it is easy to loop around my wrist. For those who don’t want to loop their long neck strap around their wrist, you can get wrist straps from several companies, such as, Artisan & Artist, Gordy’s, and even Luigi. Today I have a wrist strap for you all to check out but it’s not made by any of those manufacturers that I’ve just mentioned. I have for you all today a Black Label Bag leather wrist strap. Seeing as I don’t see much about this strap on the web, I thought that I would share with you all what I think of it. [continue reading…]

Manfrotto MTT2-P02 Table Top Tripod with Ball Head:
I’ve been very busy these past few days as I am packing for my trip. As always, I’m online looking for any last minute accessories or deals to buy like every time that I go away, and I ran into the Manfrotto MTT2-P02 Table Top Tripod with Ball Head. It looked pretty cool, and the price was right, so I decided to order it. I am bringing my main tripod with me but I figured that this little Table Top Tripod from Manfrotto would great to just throw in my bag for the times when I don’t want to bring my big tripod. Video About The New Leica 50 APO-Summicron ASPH:
I saw this cool video on the Leica Blog about photographer Pedro Ferreira and the Leica 50 APO-Summicron ASPH. He uses his M9 in the studio, and I think that’s kind of cool. I’ve been wanting to try out the studio setting with my M9 for quite some time.
I also have a confession to make: I kind of want the new 50 APO-Summicron ASPH :). I want to see how Leica can possibly improve on the already perfect 50 Summicron. Seriously, even when I bought my 50 Summilux ASPH, I refused to sell my 50 Summicron (you can check out my review of the 50 Summicron). The 50 cron is really one of the greatest lenses out there. I have an extremely high respect for it, especially since the 50 cron was the only lens I had when I was younger. If Leica did improve on the older version (and I’m sure that they did), the APO-Summicron must be mind blowing. But, if I was going to spend $7200 on a 50mm, I’d probably buy a used 50 Noctilux F1.0 or save a little to purchase the 50 Noctilux F0.95 instead of buying the new 50 APO-Summicron ASPH. The Noctilux F0.95 can produce photos that are simply out of this world.

Lightroom 4.1 Update:
Hey everyone, just in case some of you didn’t know, Lightroom 4.1 is now available, and it will support Fuji X-Pro1 RAW files! Finally! I tried out some of my X-Pro1 RAW files before I wrote up this post, and so far I have had no problems. Lightroom 4.1 also has additional support for the Canon 5D Mark III, the Nikon D800, and the Olympus OM-D E-M5. You can download Lightroom 4.1 from the Adobe site or you can click below, and the link will bring you there:

It’s a simple download, and once you update Lightroom 4, it should work just fine.

A New Photo Gallery Added to FindingRange.com:
Hey everyone, I just wanted to mention that I added a new photo gallery to the menu bar! I realized that not everyone will go through every single one of my posts so I decided to add some of the photos found in my posts to a photo gallery. Plus, I’ve been reviewing a lot on findingrange.com lately, and while that’s fun to do, I also want to make sure that photography itself plays a big role on this blog. [continue reading…]
