Sigma 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary Review Fuji X:

For those looking for an ultra wide angle zoom for their Fujifilm X Series camera, Sigma has recently announced the 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary.  On an APS-C camera, this equates to a 15-27mm, which is a range that covers quite a bit.  I had the pleasure of getting a pre-launch L mount sample to test a while back, and it worked superbly with my L mount system.  The review is here.  I still wanted to give it a go with my Fuji system, so thanks to Sigma, I was able to get a Fuji X mount version of this lens as well.  Here is what I think of it. More Wildlife From The Sigma 100-400mm Contemporary:

Hey everyone.  I was fortunate to get my hands on a pre-launch sample of the Sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary in Fujifilm X mount to test, which I posted a full review of on launch day.  For those wanting more info on the lens, the review can be found here.  I had a fantastic time with it, and it’s so nice to have another long telephoto option for X mount.  In addition to it producing phenomenal images, I found it to be a great match ergonomically for the compact Fuji X Series system.  The lens is lighter, and more compact than what typically is expected from a long telephoto zoom, and it balances beautifully with the Fujifilm bodies.  Anyway, I had a few left over images that I thought I would post them here. Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Review Fuji X:

Sigma has steadily invested in the Fujifilm X mount with several offerings.  For those looking for a normal focal length lens that’s in the range of a 50mm equivalent, and they want to try something different than say what Fujifilm has to offer, there is the Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens.  It equates to a 45mm after you factor in the crop from the APS-C sensor.  I tested the L mount version of this lens and I was quite happy with it.  Thanks to a Sigma, I was able to get an X mount version to test.  Here’s my review of it.
