There are a ton of great lens options for those in the Fujifilm X Series system.  Fuji themselves have produced quite a few choices but there are also a lot of third party manufacturers producing some great lenses to choose from as well.  For instance, Sigma has been steadily producing lenses in X mount, and as of today, the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary has been added to the collection with a priced of just $549.  This zoom was a lens that I tested previously in L mount form, and thanks to Sigma, I was able to spend some time with the X mount version before its official release date.  Here’s what I think of it. Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 X Lens Review for Fuji X:

I am a huge fan of Fujifilm native lenses but like many others, I just want something different sometimes for my Fuji camera.  It’s good to have variety, and there are actually quite a lot of lenses to choose from for X Series cameras that are X mount, and not made by Fujifilm.  For instance, if you want to have a little manual focus fun, there’s the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 X lens.  I’ve been a big fan of Voigtlander lenses for a long time, and when I heard about this lens for the first time, I was definitely excited to test it out.  Here’s what I think of it. 7artisans Photoelectric 50mm f0.95 Lens Review:

Lenses with ultra large maximum apertures always have fans, and with good reason: in addition to the light gathering capabilities of these lenses, they can also produce beautifully blurred out backgrounds for when you want to further isolate your subject.  In the past, these lenses often came with very high price tags but nowadays, there are quite a few options that are more reasonably priced.  Take, for instance, the 7artisans Photoelectric 50mm f0.95 lens, which comes in several different mounts.  With a price of just $236, this lens is definitely something that is more attainable.  I had the pleasure of testing one out, and here are my thoughts on it.
