Fujifilm X-E3 First Impressions With Sample Photos:
I’ve been a huge fan of the X-E series since the X-E1 was first released. In fact, I had the X-Pro1 at the time, and I ended up trading it in for the X-E1. I later upgraded to an X-E2 but ultimately, I left the X-E series for an X-T1 later on because it suited my needs better. I now use an X-T2 as my primary Fuji body but don’t think for a second that I don’t have a soft spot for an X-E series camera. So, when I heard the news about the Fuji X-E3, I knew I had to get my hands on one. Here are my first impressions of it. [continue reading…]
A Look Back at The Fuji XF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 Lens:
I wanted to talk a little bit about the Fuji XF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens today. I reviewed it a while back when it was first released, so this isn’t a review. If you want more info, you can check out my actual review. I also did a 1.4x Teleconverter review as well. [continue reading…]

Fujifilm Instax SQUARE SQ10 Review:
Instant film is very popular, and with good reason; at least for me, it can be a nice change from the “perfection” of digital. With an instant film camera, you’re getting a tangible print with all the little imperfections that are often associated with this type of device. Fujifilm has been producing analog instant cameras for quite some time and recently, the SQ10 was released. The SQ10 is a bit different than other Instax cameras because not only does it print on square instant film, it’s what Fuji calls a hybrid because it’s essentially a digital and analog camera rolled into one giving you essentially the best of both worlds. Let’s take a closer look. [continue reading…]

Fuji X-T2 And Flashpoint Xplor 600 TTL in The Woods:
I haven’t posted in a while, so my apologies for that. I’ve actually been busy trying out the Flashpoint Xplor 600 TTL Battery Powered Monolights. As some of you know, these monolights are basically Godox AD600s. This is not a review, so don’t expect anything with painstaking detail here but I’ll mention that overall, these products are pretty awesome. You’re essentially getting a portable high powered strobe that is battery powered, which makes it very convenient for on-location shoots. No power cords or any generators here. [continue reading…]
Fujifilm XF 14mm f2.8 R Lens Review:
There are actually a lot of great ultra wide angle lenses for the Fuji X Series now. Companies like Samyang or even Zeiss make great ultra wides in X Mount but so do Fujifilm. They make the XF 10-24mm lens, which is a fun zoom to use but if you’re thinking about a prime, you’ll have to take a look at the XF 14mm f2.8 R lens, which is the lens that I will be talking about today. This 21mm equivalent lens has actually been out for quite a while now but I haven’t had a chance to review it until now. Here are my thoughts on it. [continue reading…]
