More Wildlife From The Sigma 100-400mm Contemporary:

Hey everyone.  I was fortunate to get my hands on a pre-launch sample of the Sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary in Fujifilm X mount to test, which I posted a full review of on launch day.  For those wanting more info on the lens, the review can be found here.  I had a fantastic time with it, and it’s so nice to have another long telephoto option for X mount.  In addition to it producing phenomenal images, I found it to be a great match ergonomically for the compact Fuji X Series system.  The lens is lighter, and more compact than what typically is expected from a long telephoto zoom, and it balances beautifully with the Fujifilm bodies.  Anyway, I had a few left over images that I thought I would post them here. Sigma 23mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Review X Mount:

Sigma has some great APS-C lenses that they have been steadily introducing to Fujifilm X mount users.  Today, another lens for X mount has been announced: The Sigma 23mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary.  The 23mm is a 35mm equivalent on a Fuji X body, which makes it an essential lens for many users that are interested in travel, environmental portrait, and street photography.  Furthermore, having that large f1.4 maximum aperture only increases this lens’ versatility.  Thanks to Sigma, I was able to get a pre-launch sample to test.  Here’s what I think of the 23mm f1.4 for X mount. Portrait: Leica M11 and Voigtlander Classic 35mm f1.4 MC:

Hey everyone.  So, I have been getting back into shooting again, and since I don’t think I’ve even posted much from the Leica M11, I thought I’d post a few images I took randomly during a shoot.  I was actually shooting with my SL2, so these are more like images I took candidly on break with the model.  Lens of choice was the Voigtlander Classic 35mm f1.4 II MC. Sigma 14mm f1.4 Art: Some Black And White Images:

Hey everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend.  As some of you know, I recently posted a full review of the Sigma 14mm f1.4 DG DN Art last week, when the lens was officially announced.  I really enjoyed my time with it, and I had a few images left over that I was playing around in Capture One.  At first, I was editing them as color images but decided to switch it up a bit, and make them black and white.  I thought I might as well post them up.
