Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG DN Art Lens Review L Mount:

The 50mm is, in my opinion, one of the most important, and useful focal lengths, which is also why it is my favorite to use.  For my type of work, which is mainly boudoir, and street fashion, this focal length is attached to my camera body nearly 100% of the time.  A 50mm with a wide open aperture of f1.4 is my number one choice when it comes to 50mm’s because I find it offers a nice balance when factor in image quality, size, and of course, light gathering capabilities.  I know many who feel the same, which is why I feel Sigma’s newly announced lens, the 50mm f1.4 DG DN Art is so important, especially for the L Mount Alliance.  Thanks to Sigma, I was able to get a pre-release sample to test, and here are my thoughts on this new lens. Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Review:

Sigma has really been on a roll lately, especially when it comes to L mount.  They have been busy producing lens after lens to fulfill what seems like every photographer’s needs.  Apparently, they haven’t stopped yet because they have just announced the new Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens.  With a range like this, there just isn’t anything quite like it out right now, especially in L mount.  Thanks to Sigma, I was able to get my hands on this lens before its release date to give it a test drive, and let’s just say, this is a review definitely worth reading, if you find yourself needing an optic with this kind of capability. Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Review Fuji X:

Sigma has steadily invested in the Fujifilm X mount with several offerings.  For those looking for a normal focal length lens that’s in the range of a 50mm equivalent, and they want to try something different than say what Fujifilm has to offer, there is the Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens.  It equates to a 45mm after you factor in the crop from the APS-C sensor.  I tested the L mount version of this lens and I was quite happy with it.  Thanks to a Sigma, I was able to get an X mount version to test.  Here’s my review of it. Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary Review Fuji X:

There are a ton of great lens options for those in the Fujifilm X Series system.  Fuji themselves have produced quite a few choices but there are also a lot of third party manufacturers producing some great lenses to choose from as well.  For instance, Sigma has been steadily producing lenses in X mount, and as of today, the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary has been added to the collection with a priced of just $549.  This zoom was a lens that I tested previously in L mount form, and thanks to Sigma, I was able to spend some time with the X mount version before its official release date.  Here’s what I think of it.
