A Day of Fishing in Putnam County:
I’ve been fishing a lot lately probably because I know the summer is coming to an end. I used to fish all year round but I guess I’m getting older, and being on the boat all day in the freezing cold isn’t something I’m up for anymore :). My fishing season now usually starts around March, and ends in late November.
Fishing is definitely fun but for me but it’s not necessarily about just catching fish. It’s more about getting on the water, getting some fresh air, and clearing one’s mind. I’ve lived in the city all of my life, and love it but I also love the outdoors. It’s funny that I say this because I used to go to college in a very small town, which had a lot of outdoor activities but I ended up driving home a lot because I missed the city so much :).
I brought my X-E2 with the Zeiss Touit 12mm F2.8, and was originally going to bring it on the boat with me to take more photos, since the view at sunset can be breathtaking at times but I had second thoughts when I got there because I didn’t want it to smell like fish at the end of the day :). I think one day, I’ll drive up to Putnam County (where I fish) just to take pics. The scenery is amazing up there. Anyway, I’ll have some cool stuff coming here soon, so stay tuned.
