Photo of The Day: Trying Out The M-Adapter for The Fuji X-Pro1:
Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a great holiday season! It’s been cold here in New York! I’ve been a bit busy lately with the holidays but I manage to pull my old X-Pro1 out to play with it a bit. Yes, old if I can even really say that since it hasn’t even been a year yet lol. I’ve been using my X-E1 a lot! Anyway, I bought the Fuji M adapter for my X series cameras a couple of months ago but I really didn’t use it much.
So, I did finally get a chance to use a bit more, and here’s a quick photo I shot walking around Union Square one day. I thought the cloud formation was pretty cool, and I thought that it would look pretty cool converted to black and white. I used my Fuji X-Pro1, with my 35 Summicron ASPH. It’s pretty cool to use some of my M lenses with the X-Pro1 (for those interested in the M adapter, make sure your M lenses actually fit because some are not compatible). It’s not always easy to use them but I really like the results. I even got some pretty nice results with my 75 Summilux attached to the X-Pro1.
I’ll post a review of the Fuji M Adapter soon but not before I post my XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens review. The new zoom is a great lens, and I actually use it a lot more than I thought that I would. Anyway, sorry for the delay on the reviews everyone. Come back soon, it will be up before you know it. Take care!

Photo of The Day: Lovers in Central Park:
I took this photo a while ago, and just ran into it again while I was cleaning my desktop. It was shot with my Fuji X-Pro1, and XF 35mm at F1.4. I was walking around Central Park, and thought wow, this would be a cool black and white photo. I took two shots before they left. The first didn’t come out to well because I was rushing but the second came out okay.
Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas. I finished the XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens review but I just want to add a few more photos to it before I post it. Take care everyone!

Photo of The Day With My Fuji X-E1 And XF 18-55mm:
Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been crazy busy! I haven’t even done my Christmas shopping yet. I received my Fuji X-E1 kit last week but I haven’t had any time to shoot with it yet…well, maybe a few pics but not much. I’m about to go out to Manhattan right now for about an hour or two. Hopefully I can get some shots! If not, I plan on spending the whole day with my new Fuji X-E1 tomorrow.
I finally finished my project, and I decided to just walk around my neighborhood, and shot this photo with my X-E1, and XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens. I was out for like 15 minutes. I wasn’t planning on this to be a photowalk or anything. I must say, for a snap shot, I love what the X-E1 can deliver with this lens combo. Let’s see…I shot this photo at 1250 ISO with the 18mm focal length at F5 and 1/10 sec. Awesome, awesome colors (I love the Fuji colors!), and I didn’t even really get a chance to do any serious post-processing (I’m in a rush lol!). I actually kind of like the shot the way it is.
Anyway, I’m going out right now to see if I can get any cool shots. I can’t wait to shoot with my new X-E1! I hope all of you are enjoying the Christmas season! Take care…Fuji X-E1 review coming soon!
P.S. If any of you are looking for the XF 18-55mm zoom, my dealer Bergen County Camera has one more in stock. You can call (201)-664-4113, and ask for Bob.

Happy Thanksgiving!:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I want to give a big thanks to all my visitors out there! I hope everyone is safe, and are having a great time with their friends and family. Thanksgiving came by so fast this year. Before you know it, we will be celebrating New Years. So, now that Thanksgiving has passed us by so quickly, what’s next? Well, how about Christmas (my favorite holiday)?. Anyone who is interested should check out the Amazon Black Friday page, and the Adorama Black Friday page. I already bought a few gifts from Amazon these past few days, and I got some awesome deals. I was actually pretty surprised at some of the killer deals, and they were easy to get! No lines, and they’re pretty much in stock. That is my kind of shopping lol.
Anyway, take care everyone! Enjoy that time with your special someone or family or friends or whoever lol. Once again, thanks for visiting!

Nor’easter Comes to New York:
Wow, first Hurricane Sandy, and now a nor’easter? New Yorkers haven’t even fully recovered from Hurricane Sandy yet! Good news is that this nor’easter wasn’t as bad as the last one. Yes, the winds were still 40 to 60 mph but it didn’t cause as much destruction as Sandy. I definitely feel for the people that live by the coast though. Hopefully all of you readers out there from the Northeast are doing well, and are safe. We are definitely getting some strange weather…for instance, it’s going to be in the 60’s by Sunday. I guess the good news is that everything will melt away soon.
In terms of photo related news, I did mention that I recently bought the Fuji M-Mount Lens Adapter for my X-Pro1. I still plan on writing a user review for it but I just haven’t had the time to use it more thoroughly. The results that I did get so far are pretty cool but I still have a bit trouble focusing with larger apertures, especially at night. Maybe it’ll work better with the Fuji X-E1 because of the higher resolution OLED viewfinder. I’ll find out soon hopefully because I pre-ordered one with the kit lens, and I’ve been patiently waiting (impatiently, actually).
Anyway, take care everyone, and stay safe out there!
