Fuji X-E1 IR Conversion:
This will be a quick post as I haven’t had much time to process the rest of my photos. I just wanted to share with you all my first couple of pics from a Fuji X-E1 that has had IR conversion done to it. I’m still getting the hang of it but it’s been a lot of fun using the IR converted X-E1. I will probably write up a detailed user experience soon but for now, I’m just experimenting with it.
These were shot in Williamsburg and converted to black and white. I don’t go to Williamsburg as much as I would like because it can be a little inconvenient getting there for me. But the place where I get my haircut moved there from the Lower East Side, and I like how they cut my hair, so now I go there a lot more :). Plus, it has given me the opportunity to explore, and there’s usually some nice areas where you can see the city from across the East River. This time, I brought along the IR converted X-E1 because I thought it would be a great way to test it out.
I used my trusty Zeiss Touit 12mm F2.8 because I like how the clouds look with the ultra wide angle effect. As some of you know, this is my favorite lens for the Fuji X Series. Anyway, I will post more with the IR converted X-E1 soon. I hope all of you are enjoying the weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
