Leica Q Type 116 Review Coming Soon

Leica Q Type 116 Review Coming Soon:

This is just going to be a short post to tell all of you what I’ve been up to recently.  Sorry for the lack of content but I’ve been quite busy in the background.  For those interested but haven’t seen it yet, I recently posted my Fuji XF 16mm F1.4 R WR lens review.  So, definitely check it out if you have some time.  Also, some of you might already know this from my social network feeds but for those who don’t, thanks to Bob Gramegna at the Leica Boutique of Bergen County Camera, I’ve been testing Leica’s new Q Typ 116.

I think the Q Typ 116  is a big deal for Leica.  From the details, the Typ 116 is a camera that a lot of people were asking Leica to build for many years, so I’m guessing there’s a lot riding on it for Leica.  Well, without giving away my review completely, all I have to say is I showed three people the Leica Q, and each one (using non-Leica systems) wanted one badly, and one even traded in his entire existing system and ordered a Typ 116 yesterday.  He talked to Bob, and while there’s already a list of people who want one, he should be getting one very soon (Bergen County Camera gets quite a lot of Leica gear).  The other two are also really considering it as well.  They keep leaving me text messages about the Leica Q Typ 116 :).  Anyway, I am currently writing my review, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you because I have quite a lot to say about this new camera from Leica.

But in the mean time, I will be uploading a couple of guest posts, some film scans that I just received back from my lab taken with my Hasselblad 503CW, and a couple of other reviews.  I’ve actually also been shooting some film with my Leica M6 🙂  Of course, when I get those processed, I will upload them as well.  As always, thanks for stopping by!
