Leica SL 14-24mm f2.8 & Summicron-21mm f2 Pre-Order:

Good news for photographers using the SL system or any L mount camera for that matter :).  Leica has just announced the Summicron-SL 21mm f2 ASPH, and the Super-Vario-Elmarit-SL 14-24mm f2.8 ASPH for the SL system.  They are both available for pre-order as of now.  The link is below:

I’m a prime kind of guy, so that 21mm is looking quite good to me right now :).  However, that zoom would definitely come in handy, especially with its widest focal length being 14mm.  Let me know what you think.  Check out below, if you want some more info on the two new lenses: [continue reading…]

Leica SL2 Silver Officially Announced With Lens Bundles:

Hey everyone!  For those who want a more classic look, the Leica SL2 silver has just been announced.  During my M days, I always bought my bodies in silver, unless there was a black paint version :).  I love the look of silver, and in the case of Leica, the silver bodies actually look like metal, if you get what I mean (it helps that they are actually made of metal).  Anyway, for those interested, you can find the new SL2 below.  The bundles, particularly the one with the Noctilux-M 50mm f1.2 are decent too.  You do save some decent cash as well:

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!  If it helped, please consider purchasing from any of the links mentioned in this post, which in turn, helps support this site.  I get a small commission but it will not cost you anything extra.  Thank you!

Leica D-Lux 7 007 Edition Camera Just Released:

For those interested, the Leica D-Lux 7 007 Edition Camera has been released.  I did review the D-Lux 7 a while back when it initially came out.  I’ve always been a huge fan of the series, and I think they did a fantastic job with the 7 in general.  You can read my full review of the D-Lux 7 here.  The 007 Edition is a special edition limited to 1962 units because the James Bond franchise began with Dr. No in 1962.
