Fujifilm XF 23mm f2 R WR Lens And X-A3 Announcement
For those interested, you can now pre-order the new Fujifilm XF 23mm f2 R WR Lens in black or silver! I’ve always said that Fuji should’ve come out with an f2 version of the XF 23mm, and I’m so glad they finally did! As I said in my XF 23mm f1.4 review, the f1.4 version is an absolutely fantastic lens but an f2 version might serve as a better everyday lens because it would be more compact. While it’s not a pancake lens like the one of the X100, it’s still quite small. At $449, it’s also considerably cheaper than the XF 23mm f1.4, which never hurts :). Images From The Sony a6300 And a Trip to London:
I’m leaving to London in a few hours, so I won’t be here for a while. However, my site will be regularly updated while I’m away, and I will still respond to comments and emails. It just may take me a little bit longer than usual ;). As for my trip, it is just a vacation but I won’t be going empty handed. I was originally hoping to get the Sigma sd Quattro for this trip because I really wanted to review it. I’ve always been intrigued by Sigma’s, shall we say, unique cameras, and I thought the new sd Quattro would be a great way to find out more about their gear but it just won’t make it in time. So, seeing as I’ve been wanting to try the Sony a6300 for quite a while now, I decided to make a request for it, and take it along with a few lenses. Leica 50mm Summarit-M f2.4 Lens First Impressions:
I have some reviews coming this week, so I’ve been really busy but I just wanted to post something up real quick, and let you all know what I’ve been up to. I haven’t done anything Leica in quite a while, so I thought it would be great getting back to reviewing some of their gear. One lens that I’ve had my eye on for a while now is the 50mm Summarit-M f2.4. Personally, the 50mm is my favorite focal length, so of course, I’ve always wanted to give the 50mm Summarit a try. Hands on With the Hasselblad X1d-50C:
First off, I have no photos taken with the camera, so I don’t want to mislead anyone. I just had the good fortune yesterday to finally get my hands on the new Hasselblad X1d-50C, and play around with it in the store. Ever since it’s been announced, I’ve been going crazy over this camera. I’ve always wanted to get into digital medium format, and from the info I’ve gathered so far, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
