Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 X Lens Review for Fuji X

Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 X Lens Review for Fuji X:

I am a huge fan of Fujifilm native lenses but like many others, I just want something different sometimes for my Fuji camera.  It’s good to have variety, and there are actually quite a lot of lenses to choose from for X Series cameras that are X mount, and not made by Fujifilm.  For instance, if you want to have a little manual focus fun, there’s the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 X lens.  I’ve been a big fan of Voigtlander lenses for a long time, and when I heard about this lens for the first time, I was definitely excited to test it out.  Here’s what I think of it. Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f1.8 Lens Review:

When the L Mount Alliance was first established, there weren’t many lenses out there but things have changed quite a bit.  Nowadays, there are a lot more to choose from lenses with actual L mount to ones that can be used with adapters.  For instance, for those looking for a short tele lens, there are several options, and at several different price ranges as well.  One is the Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f1.8., which retails for just $597.99.  On paper, it has a lot of great features to like being compact, lightweight, and having a large maximum aperture, just to name a few.  After spending some time with it, here’s what I think of it. Panasonic Lumix S5: A Look Back at One of My Favorites:

I reviewed the Panasonic S5 a while back (full review here), so this isn’t a review.  Think of it more as an update to the review, especially since nowadays, there are even more compact lenses out that will better match the size of the Lumix S5.  I’m writing about it now because in the past couple of months, I had the pleasure of using one again.  It’s been almost a year since I reviewed the S5, and I have to say, I am still a huge fan of this camera.  It’s still one of my favorites because in addition to being L mount, which is what I mainly use, I feel it’s a well-rounded camera that can do quite a bit in the right hands. Kodak Gold 200 Film in 120 Format Announced:

Hey everyone!  I’ve been a little busy with some projects lately but I’ll have some new reviews coming soon.  In the mean time, Kodak has announced something I was not expecting: I don’t shoot much film these days, and I definitely don’t shoot anymore medium format, since I’ve sold all of my MF stuff a while back but I think it’s really cool that Kodak Gold 200 film will be coming out in 120 format.  For those interested, you can already pre-order it.
