Photo of The Day: Not From the Fuji X-Pro1 This Time:
Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve actually been very VERY busy testing out some new camera equipment other than the X-Pro1 that many of you may like :). I am definitely shooting with the XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens for the X-Pro1 but I also have another surprise for you all. My camera dealer (Bergen County Camera) has been nice enough to loan me some stuff for me to review so I borrowed my first camera from them, and will be posting about it shortly! Of course, the 60mm macro review will come first since I know many of you are interested in it. So please bare with me for a bit because more stuff is definitely coming especially more X-Pro1 stuff, since I really am still enjoying this cool camera.
For now, please check out the new photo I shot with the camera that I borrowed. It’s a subcompact camera but it produces pretty impressive files! I shot this photo at 1/40 with the ISO set at 640. I used Nik Software Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert it to black and white. One thing is for sure: this camera definitely beats the pants off my Leica D-Lux 4. This is a photo of my always funny uncle, and he titles it, “work stress” :).
I have to return the camera by Monday, so I will be shooting all day with it tomorrow along with the X-Pro1, and of course, the XF 60mm F2.4 R macro lens. I really don’t want to return this camera! I wish I had more time with it because the moment I got it, it rained pretty much every day! I am so tempted to buy it but I am saving up for more Leica stuff in the future :(. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great weekend, and I hope all of you get some time to shoot! Take care, and as always, thanks for stopping by!
