If anyone is interested, Adobe has finally released Photoshop CS6 for $699, and the Photoshop Extended CS6 for $999. I’ve been kind of waiting for this since I’m actually a bigger fan of Photoshop than I am of Lightroom. I’ve just been using Lightroom 4 recently because I actually like the new features, and sliders in Adobe Camera Raw 7 a lot. Now I can finally go back to Photoshop :). [continue reading…]
Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve actually been very VERY busy testing out some new camera equipment other than the X-Pro1 that many of you may like :). I am definitely shooting with the XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens for the X-Pro1 but I also have another surprise for you all. My camera dealer (Bergen County Camera) has been nice enough to loan me some stuff for me to review so I borrowed my first camera from them, and will be posting about it shortly! Of course, the 60mm macro review will come first since I know many of you are interested in it. Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I received my XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens for the Fuji X-Pro1 today, and I will definitely be testing it tomorrow. I am so excited about it. I’ve been waiting for this lens to test it out with some portrait work and of course, some macro photography. I’ll probably put some shots up with it tomorrow night. As some of you may know, my sensor on my Leica M9 cracked a little while ago. If you’re new to my blog, you can check out the two posts HERE and HERE. To give you a quick recap, I brought it to my local dealer (Bergen County Camera), and Bob said he would take care of it. He was nice enough to bring it over to Leica NJ for me. Hey everyone, I just received a call from my camera dealer that my XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro Lens for the X-Pro1 has arrived. He’s going to ship it on Monday so I should receive it probably Tuesday. I can’t wait to try it out, and give you all another user review. This review will be one of my most in depth because I’ve been really looking forward to using this lens so please stay tuned! There were a few who have already used it, and say that it’s the best lens for the Fuji X-Pro1 so far. Could the XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro Lens be better than the XF 35mm F1.4 R lens? That would be pretty incredible :). I will definitely be putting it through its paces so come back, and check it out!
