New Leica SL2 and Lens Bundles With Big Savings:

As some of you know, my main camera is the Leica SL2, and I love it.  If you go to my Instagram, you’ll see that nearly all the photos there have been shot with my SL2 along with the Summilux-SL 50mm ASPH.  Well, there are two new bundles that help quite a bit in the savings department.  To top it off, whether or not you purchase the SL2 as a bundle or body only, you can get a free Oberwerth Boulevard bag.  Both bundles include two of my favorite lenses:

The Lux is my favorite lens 50mm, and if you look through my Instagram, practically all my images have been shot with just this one lens.  The 24-90mm is my favorite zoom in this range.  I originally bought it with my SL as something temporary until the native primes were released but the quality from the zoom is so good, I ended up keeping it.  It’s a lens I still have to write a review for but you can find my Lux review here.

Sigma 56mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens First Impressions L Mount:

Hey everyone!  So, my brother in law is still helping me do some big internal updates to my site but in the mean time, he said it’s okay to start posting again.  I thought I’d start off with something for the Leica CL.  As many of you know, I’m a big fan of the CL but one of its weakest areas is the fact that there aren’t as many native lenses for it.  In my opinion, Leica really needs to speed up production of new APS-C lenses for the CL; it’s a fantastic camera.  It’s true that we have M mount lenses, and you can use the full frame L mount lenses as well.  However, I don’t want to rely on manual focus lenses, and full frame L mount lenses are huge.  Well, Sigma has recently release three focal lengths that all have large f1.4 apertures, and at the same time, are very compact.  I have all three on hand that I am currently testing them with a CL, and right now, I’ll be talking about one of them: the 56mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens. Currently Updating Site:

Hey everyone.  If you’ve noticed my site was offline last week, it has been because my awesome brother in law has been doing some updates to it (I’m terrible with computers lol).  There’s still more work that will be done but it should be finished soon.  In the mean time, I have been testing a lot of gear recently, so once everything is A okay, expect those first impressions and reviews to come shortly.

What kind of gear do I currently have?  Currently, I have all three of the Sigma APS-C L mount lenses, and also the new Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN Art Lens in L mount.  I have been using a Leica CL with the APS-C lenses, and they work great.  I’ve been doing some portraits with the Leica SL2 and the 85mm f1.4…the lens is phenomenal!  Can’t wait to get some examples up here.  I think I will see if I can also do a comparison between my Leica APO Summicron-SL 90mm and the Sigma 85mm f1.4.  I think that’ll be kind of fun :).  So, thanks for your patience, and for stopping by!
