The Highly Anticipated Fuji X-Pro1:
I’m not going to lie to you…even I’m getting a bit excited over this. Think about it: a reasonably priced rangefinder-styled digital camera with interchangeable lenses. The body is $1700, and the lenses are only around $600 to $700. I also heard that a super wide angle is in the works :). I already pre-ordered mine with all three lenses from my local dealer, and of course when I get it, I will DEFINITELY be posting about it. My dealer was telling me that this will definitely put a dent in people buying used Leica M8 cameras. I’m really glad to see a company like Fuji build cameras like this, and hopefully, more companies will follow. This camera reminds me of the Contax G system in a good way. I’m just hoping image quality, and overall usability will be good. The Fuji X100 is a great camera, and if the Fuji X-Pro1 is anything like it, it will be great as well. Good luck in getting one if any of you are interested.
