Superhero Car Leica M 240 Pics From The NY Auto Show:
Here’s a very short post with the left over pics that I have from the New York International Auto Show. Just like PART 1 and PART 2 of my NY Auto Show posts, all the photos were shot with my Leica M and 35 Summicron ASPH. Here are some superhero car pics lol.
If you’re in New York City, you should go check out the auto show. It was crowded but at the same time really fun. There are a lot of cool cars, and of course, it’s a great place to take photos. I think the NY Auto Show ends on April 7th, so you only have this week if you want to go. [continue reading…]

New York International Auto Show: More Leica M 240 PART 2:
I ended up with a lot of photos from the NY Auto Show. I had a lot of fun taking photos of the cars with my Leica M. I said this before but I’ll say it again; the new M is just so much more refined than the M9. Plus the image quality is superb…it’s way better than I thought was possible. I really wish I could post full resolution, uncompressed photos up here but unfortunately, I can’t. Do I have any regrets trading in my M9? Not one bit. Don’t get me wrong; the M9 is still a great camera that many will enjoy for years. But Leica really did a great job this time with the new Leica M. [continue reading…]

New York International Auto Show: Some More Leica M 240 Photos:
I know I said I was going to post some stuff from the NY Auto Show yesterday but when I got home, I just crashed :). I was so tired from walking all over the city yesterday. Good news is that I got some stuff today for you all :). All these photos were taken with the Leica M, and the 35 Summicron ASPH.
I have to say that I am quite frankly surprised at what the Leica M can produce. I might get hate mail for this but IN MY OPINION, I haven’t seen anything this good except maybe from something produced with an S2. In general, you all know that I try to be pretty neutral on my blog but this time, I quite honestly don’t care what anyone else says about the new M because I am one happy customer lol :). I WISH I could post full resolution, uncompressed files up here but I can’t. Sorry. I know getting a Leica M demo is pretty much impossible but if you ever get the chance, take it out for a few days, and try it. The files are ridiculously good. And since I’ve only had the Leica M for a couple of days, I haven’t even really begun to push this camera yet. [continue reading…]

Snowstorm Nemo comes to New York City:
New York has finally received its first real snow storm of the year, Snowstorm Nemo. It’s a great feeling waking up to a snowy white morning. It reminds me of the days I use to go skiing when I was in college. It even felt good doing a little shoveling believe it or not :). I didn’t get to take as many photos today as I wanted to because I’ve been feeling a little under the weather. I really wanted to go out to Manhattan, and see if there was anything out there to shoot. But I did take a walk around my neighborhood here in Bayridge Brooklyn. If you want to see a huge snowstorm we had a couple of years back where cars, and buses were abandoned in the middle of the street check out my Leica M9 post. It was the biggest snowstorm I experienced here in New York City. [continue reading…]

Some X100 Photos of The New York Public Library:
I went to the New York Public Library to help my girlfriend with some research, and wow, it is pretty amazing. I think I went to it on a school trip when I was in kindergarden but I definitely did not remember much of it because seriously, I was quite surprised at how cool it was (and I take the bus home around there all the time). Luckily, I brought along my Fuji X100 with me because I just had to photograph some of the amazing stuff that I saw. It goes to show you that you should never ever be without a camera. Great thing about the X100 is that it really does offer some outstanding image quality yet it’s completely portable enough to carry around all day without being a nuisance. I’m going to miss this little guy when I get my Fuji X-E1. The bad news? Well, I forgot to empty my memory card so I was limited to only a few photos. I will definitely be making my way over there again very soon…maybe with the X-E1 when I finally get my hands on one. It should definitely be a great test for the new kit zoom. [continue reading…]
