A Visit to Park Slope With The Fuji XF 35mm F2 Lens:

I went over to Park Slope yesterday to visit a friend because he’s hugely into photography like me, and he wanted to see the new Fuji XF 35mm F2 R WR lens.  For those who don’t know, Park Slope is part of Brooklyn. I don’t visit it much but I should.  It actually has some great places to eat, and a beautiful park (Prospect Park) whose designers, I believe, also designed Central Park. [continue reading…]

The NYC Marathon as it Runs Through Brooklyn:

It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted, so I thought pics from the NYC Marathon would be a great opportunity to get back into the rhythm of putting up new content again.  I do not have as many pics as I wanted because I was actually getting back from a Halloween party this morning (I ended up sleeping over at a friend’s), and my battery was running low on my Fuji X-T1.  So, while I do take my camera everywhere with me, it turns out that maybe I should also take a spare battery with me even on the days when I don’t think I’m going to use my camera much ;). Images From The Fuji XF 90mm F2 LM WR lens:

I’ve been spending my Saturday morning organizing my images on my computer, and I have some left over photos from when I was reviewing the Fuji XF 90mm F2 LM WR lens that I thought I would share.  Man, I simply love this lens!  This is seriously one of the best optics that Fuji or any manufacturer has released.  In my opinion, the optics are out of this world.  I’m still wondering if I made the right decision when I bought the XF 56mm APD over this lens.  I know the XF 56mm APD is also superb, and I keep telling myself that for now, the XF 56mm’s focal length just makes more sense for me.  I would be using it more often.  The focal length of the XF 90mm is just a little too long for me.  Still, the image quality from the XF 90mm simply blows me away.  If you want to see more examples from this lens, check out my review. A Walk With My New Fuji X-T1

A Walk With My New Fuji X-T1:

Well, it isn’t exactly new…rather like-new :).  If you’re on any of my social networks, then you probably already know that I ended up getting a Fuji X-T1 recently.  It happened spontaneously.  I had absolutely no intentions of upgrading but my uncle was going to trade in his X-T1 for something different.  Instead, he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse: he offered to take my X-E2 in exchange for his X-T1 to use as a trade in.  The X-T1 was barely used (he works quite a bit, so he doesn’t have much spare time anymore), and seeing as there were a lot of features that I wanted from it, I jumped at the chance. Hasselblad 503CW Photos of a Golden Retriever:

Since I posted my Hasseblad Diaries: Second Batch of Film article, I actually received a few emails regarding the photo of the golden retriever.  I guess I have a lot of dog lovers that visit my blog 🙂 .  So, since I had a few remaining photos of her, and I’m currently working on the Leica Q review, I thought it would be nice to post up something light-hearted.
